Simply Japanese 2026 - Beaulieu, Sun 19 July

Mark your calendars, prep your RX, and join us at Beaulieu on 19 July 2026!

Set in the parkland of the National Motor Museum, this event is one of the highlights of the UK Japanese car calendar.

Japanese cars and motorcycles of all ages and models are welcome, offering a relaxed show atmosphere and the chance to enjoy not just the car display but the whole Beaulieu attraction — including the museum, Palace House, Abbey and gardens.

There’s also the People’s Choice Awards, where visitors vote for their favourite cars, with prizes for the winner and runners-up.

We’d love to see a strong rotary turnout and this year we’re planning to join forces with other rotary clubs to bring a solid, united presence. Don’t miss out on club camaraderie, great cars and a brilliant day with like-minded enthusiasts.

If you're coming in a Japanese car, you can come on the stand. If you're arriving by some other means, then my guess is you'll have to buy a general admission ticket and park in the car park.

You may need to purchase quite quickly for show car entry, the final numbers email from Laura has gone out. Ive just returned the Paradigm Club entries for 11 of us....

This event is getting close, so here are TWO rendezvous points, should you wish to convoy into the show:

RV point 1 Rownhams services M27 west bound
Arrive to depart promptly at 7.40am
It’s between junction 4 and 3 west bound
Postcode is approx
SO16 8AP

A 20 minute convoy will then take us to:

RV Point 2 Tesco Superstore
Arrive to depart promptly at 8.15am
Sizer Way
SO45 5JA

JIM.E will be at RV1 and I will be at RV2.

We will enter Beaulieu via the B3054 rear (show) entrance, about 10 minutes from RV2.

I haven't checked directly, but Ian Mothersole has traditionally bought the club Gazebo to the stand. We might well be needing it for some shade if these heatwaves continue . Don’t forget your hats, chairs, suntan lotion and lots of drinks!

Most importantly, don't forget your e-Ticket for the event!

The Rotary Community stand pass (a generic one, the same for everyone) will be posted up in this topic for people to print out as soon as we receive it. If you would like to collect a printed copy, let us know and we will bring some spare copies to RV1 and/or RV2.

Also, please let us know if you plan to be at RV1 or RV2 so we can look out for you.

Well, that seemed to go very smoothly yesterday

Everyone was on time for the RV points, the convoy to the venue went fine, just slowing down for the large number of New Forest ponies who were very close to the road. No queue on entry and we found our our stand quickly - the same position as last year, convenient for the conveniences

Thanks to Ian for bringing all the club gear again, and to Derek for bringing the bacon and margarine for the rolls that I contributed. Thank you also to Julie for the tasty scones, jam and yummy clotted cream . The Gazebo was in good use throughout the day as the social hub and refreshments centre, and provided some respite from the sun. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, chatting to everyone and Gwyn and I took a long wander around the show and grounds.
