However, the takeup so far has been less than we need to make this work for the club. If we do not get further takers this will be the last time we offer this incredible opportunity at JDM Combe.

Looking good with 35 cars on the RX-8 OC plus adjacent Rotary Community stands

BUT, there is room for more at this show, always a great day out.

AND, please consider signing up to drive in the 15 minute Club Exclusive Track Session. If you have never driven on track before, this is a golden opportunity to "tick that box". Just Club Members on track with you and there is no pressure to drive fast. There is a comprehensive safety briefing at the start of the day to explain the overtaking and flags (the same flags as at F1 racing ).

You only need a helmet and a roadworthy car. Helmets can be hired on the day for a nominal fee - or if you know you head size, some members like me have a spare helmet they can bring - just ask. Safety rules dictate that long trousers must be worn, and long sleeved clothing is advised, often relaxed for tin-top cars on a hot day though. Any other questions, just ask. This really is the best opportunity for anyone who has not done it before to drive on a racing circuit. You never know, you might like it and progress to a full track day event

Haha, thank you! Not sure about the track session yet, I'm sure it would be fine, but not sure about my own driving skills!

We still have space on the club stand and both track sessions if more people would like to join us
Guests and ex members can get the stand code from myself or Casey by just sending us a message
I’d go just for the bacon rolls myself if nothing else
