you know my engine has been out about 6 times since i set my ppf up. now in theory that should not make any difference.... but i really should recheck it..

now if only i had a nice garage to check it in.....

Que James building a device of medivel ilk to hold the gearbox up that requires some insane level of ingenuity for literally 5 seconds of work.

Dropped 8 wheels into City Wheels, Birmingham for full refurb. 4 bare and 4 with tyres just fitted in the Captur so I will have to collect them with the RX8 and trailer as the tyres are not being refitted. Lots of padding will be required!

I once drove my MG Midget with a new MG Midget wing in the passenger seat to deliver for my brother. (I think it with the top down on a summers evening)

Unfortunately it wasn't till I'd left and got on the open road that I found I could only get half the gears as it was obstructing the gear lever - he'd put it in the car and I'm pretty sure he new this!

There is no way that 8 bare wheels and 4 tyres will go inside an RX8.

Today: Fitted my new RRP Coils, allong with new leads and sparks. Dead easy using the "remove the resonance chamber" method, especially given my skinny hands.

Last Week: Fitted the black OEM wheels that I picked up fairly cheaply a few weeks back.

Two weeks ago: Had my local mechanic fit my Tein S-Tech springs, 20mm spacers, and a new starter motor.

Its getting there, I'll post some new pics when the sun comes out.

I'm starting to think that as soon as my bro moves out Ollie's going to take over that room with frequent trips here to get help sorting the car out......
