I had to look up Dvorak....?
Don't worry it's probably a good thing you didn't know. Sadly, it shows my geekiness.

We had a running joke about this at my old job as the thing you definitely won't figure out without looking it up is how to actually pronounce it. My old boss kept saying it and we didn't know what he was talking about, until we made that link.

Poor Dave, there are a great many types of keyboard aside from qwerty that we use daily now. And sorry Vinod. F*** my life is correct. :p I could really use stocking up on some more but maybe next week if its still 40% off.

I had no idea about the offer till I went to buy so thought I'd let peeps know. I was just looking for the cheapest postage and packaging option, so that's why I was looking at different sites, and luckily saw this on demon tweeks. No idea how long it will last but fingers crossed it's till next week at least!

I think I still have a few litres or so, so I should be good anyway the cars not going to be doing much mileage other than warming the engine thoroughly between moving it... If I can manage to get it going today.

Yeah good luck with getting the car going Ollie. Sounds like a right pain. Sadly I have no useful advice to help, but hope you get it going with the advice of those far more knowledgeable than I.

Went to try again but sadly its started raining so I only attempted 3 deflood procedures and tried turning it over once. Was going to check the leads/spark plugs but with the rain I'd rather not. And I don't want to end up flattening the battery before I get a charger. On the upside I managed to find my lost towing eye that was in a "safe" place. Was in the passengers door. So I've now put it back in the boot where it belongs and is properly safe!

So aside from the car not wanting to go... A minor oof today as once again my OC keyring has managed to detatch itself in my pocket... Second time this has happened no clue on the physics of how or why when the piece that holds it on has a smaller gap than the emblem.. Easy to fix at least.

Don’t use the ring that holds it on just put the emblem directly onto your key ring.

So it will be getting its reading from a different position to the oem temperature sensor, I'm not sure how much the temperature would vary between the two locations, but sure there would be some difference.

Possible that there is a change in connections (dirty or loose) I know bad earth's can cause some guages to play up.

The only variation should be the delay in registering a temperature as the ancillary gauge sensor is post thermostat therefore until the thermostat opens the ancillary gauge will not register higher than ambient.

Well... its done. I thought there would be a large hole in the bandwidth but it does sound a lot more direct. I've only just input gain matched the subs. Which were in dire need as they were far too unbalanced. Finally plugged in the tweeters and ran some different genres.

All in all they sound great! I was a little worried that they might "hype" the top end but they sound quite even.

Looks good Keni. Can't wait to hear it sometime. :p I'm going to dissect my spare set of lights sometime soon and get all the measurements of the silver parts.. then try and put them into a CAD program of some sort and see if I can come up with a design that would look a bit nicer... With some LEDs on it. :p

Well today I decided to swap out the radiator after the little top hose connection on the rad snapped off. What a ball ache of a job, made twice as hard doing it with my busted ankle. (Lots of swearing). Incredible the amount of bits needing removal just to get the dam thing out. Of course a lot of the fixings were seized and snapped while trying to undo, (despite copious amounts of WD40) so had to source new from screwfix which added time, well waiting for them as I sent Karen to get them.

Oh and I also took the opportunity to clean up and paint the crossmember as well.
