Cat scrapping

Post by MightyCondor »

Has anyone scrapped a cat before?

I have one from a FD that has taken a bit of core damage that I want to get rid of.

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Bonus points if you're from my neck of the woods (Berks) and can recommend anyone

I use A1 in Wokingham Alan, they will pay a fair price usually, sometimes a bit of negotiation is needed.

What's the going rate? Obvs I accept that RX8 cats are probably valued differently to FD ones. And mine sadly looks like this inside Image

I haven’t scrapped one since before lockdown but a company in the north paying £600 has popped up on FB a few times.

Just to add, A1 pay by loading money on to a prepaid credit card which I am fine with but just mentioning in case.

Does a 23 year old large metal Japanese cat with questionable insides do it for you Nigel?

They will get knocked for the damage, I sold an Fd cat last year only got £100 for it as there's no codes and there not 100% sure on it's value
