Yeah it's (almost) funny how much the prices fluctuate. The carpets in 2017 were only £22. And the FL22 I bought from them in 2018 was only £18. Holy variance Batman!

Back in 2017 there were 2 choices of floor mat to choose from. 'Premium' and 'luxury' that the parts rep didn't know the difference between. Now there is only one type left.

It’s good to know the unused set I have had in my boot for circa two years has appreciated in value 😁

I got the FL22 from MX5parts as I have done before, their service is excellent and pricing decent (£25 delivered via eBay)

Attempted to fit my new spoiler.... Marking up the new holes before committing myself, I wasn't happy, gave up, found the spiced rum and had a rather nice evening.

The hardest part was getting the baffle to seat in its recess as i was working under the car on axle stands (plus there's a bit of weight to it)

You have a COFS/SOHN installed right? Does that mean you'll be going to 10w30 instead of 10w40?

I'm still running 10-40 for now, may drop to 5-40, but last time I looked the rear bearing was hardly marked (34,000 miles on it) so may just stay as we are

Yeah, I just seem to be doing fine with semi synthetic, last year I had a rear main seal swapped by Nick, while we were in there we had a look at the bearing and it was practically as new.

Awesome. I'm mocking up plans of a couple of 2L tanks and a backing plate to go in the place of my washer fluid bottle. Ideally it'll cost me a lot less than the available kits. Then it's just buying a COFS. Which would be awesome. :D

Pretty much the setup I'm going to be going for. Just with two generic aluminium tanks of some description for circa 40~ quid a piece I hope. Will obviously need to figure out the washer sensor somehow? And may even look into splicing a low level sensor into the sump low level oil wiring so that the 2T tank gives a warning since theres possibly not going to be a visual indicator.

Are you aware of the alternative scheme which uses a moped oil tank next to the brake servo?
I followed in Phil's footsteps doing this and it seems a good scheme to me. The tanks are readily available and you can leave the washer fluid tank as it is.
I can send photos if you're interested.
It's also very simple to run another indicator lamp off the moped oil level switch to give you separate monitorning for the two-stroke oil.
