Might be some confusion between RaceTime Chrono and RaceChrono apps.

There's certainly a free version of RaceChrono in Play Store for Android ;)

The Pro version is showing at £17.99 though :?

It's this App: https://racechrono.com/

And there is NO free version for IOS - they must assume anyone that can afford an iPhone can afford to buy it

Circuit de haute Saintonge
I had a great day on Sunday,I arrived at the circuit at 7.30 on Sunday morning it is very modern and a nice place to be.
After the briefing the newbies did two laps behind the course car (me) there was cones on the apex’s which made life easy,
The track is very enjoyable with corners flowing into each other, hit the apex at one corner and the next lined up a treat the faster I went the better it felt.the car was faultless all day and as the day went on I started playing with suspension settings and tyre pressures.sorry did not take any pictures I was having to much fun.i will definitely be going back.
The lap timing app did not work no mobile signal.

Hi
I have been looking at track days for 2020,looks like my first will be the 1st March at the circuit Val de Vienne.i feel I have unfinished business there as I really struggled with the late apex corners and use to high a gear in some corners.
It felt a bit like the car was driving me if you now what I mean.
Second date is 29th March at circuit haut saintonge.i love this circuit hard braking and you can really attack the curbs.
There is also the Bugatti circuit at leman in August with looks good.i will add more dates as they come.

If you book that one and they allow spectators then I'd like to come and cheer you on. Been looking for an excuse for a short French summer trip in my 8.

It would be nice to share this glorious track with a few other RX8er's; anyone game.

It is on a Sunday and the weather will be sunny and hot.
We could drive down on Friday night and come back Sunday night.
It is in August so plenty of time to prepare.
Think about it.... the Le Mans circuit!

Guys,

Mark has recommended using Speed Monster Club to book this track day, they have a facebook page:

one has to fill in a form and send off a cheque in Euros, or travellers cheques will do. I think you can pay by credit card if you ring them up.

The link to the form you need to fill in is below:

https://21966637-8b19-4f30-b271-9bf2efd ... 1af11c.pdf

It is in French but just use Google translate to change it to English.

I have sent off my cheque and completed form.

Come on people it is a blooming lovely track to drive.

Ranjan.

Hi not strictly track day ,
I will be going on my usual pilgrimage to the pau grand prix from the 22 to 24 may.it is always a good weekend as it is a street circuit in town so plenty of night life to.last years race was won by billy monger in the rain,an enspired Tyre choice and brilliant driving.the gt cars do a night race on Saturday night they look so great in the dark while your stud watching with a beer in your hand.
Also going to the classic Le man 24 hour on 3 to 5 July I have never been before so looking forward to that and will be camping.
