Electric SUPERCHARGER

Post by DirkDiggler »

Well I gave it a go out of pure curiosity as heard various reports about these things and WOW!!!
I kid you not I must have gained at least 80bhp on my RX8 , I even had a race with a Audi S3 and I totally smoked him, so I’m now on the prowl for faster cars to beat in my electric supercharged RX8.

If your interested this mod only cost me £35.00 off eBay.

Can’t tell if sarcastic? I genuinely thought electric turbo/super chargers were bogus. Like cold air intakes?

Buy two and get a 160bhp boost. Oh sod It, for £35 each just buy ten and go for the full 1000bhp experience. Add a hydrogen generator and you could be pushing 1500bhp before you know it.

The eBay ones don’t last however I am involved with a project using the latest Dyson cyclone brushless electric motors running at 20000rpm and initial results are promising.

I appreciate that your Go Pro may struggle with the g-forces, but I'm sure we are all eager to see the video...

That’s just silly as the ceramic Apex seals I had had fitted by a reputable engine builder wouldn’t handle the boost , but he did tell me they are good for Upto 800bhp.

Would that be latest Dyson cyclone "Digital" brushless electric motor by any chance if so do the binary digits come in a separate case? :-k

Just to clarify and prevent any misunderstanding I am working on an extraction system to overcome the exhaust restriction of the Renesis. The project is stalled currently as imports of Unobtainium are frozen due to Brexit!
