Yessums - actually quite nice folk it turns out (from who we encountered, anyway).
Also it seemed like the people-to-doggo ratio was about 1:1, which is a good start

I've just got home from an airport run in my 8.
That's 70 miles through/over the centre of Belfast.
Number of other 8's spotted = 0
On Monday I'll be doing the same trip, only in the Skoda, and won't be surprised to spot two or three 8's at various points in the journey.
I had thought this this behaviour was just Murphys Law, as you don't want to be waving or flashing at an 8, when driving a Skoda.
However, I'm beginning to think that it's all to do with Quantum Physics, where no more than one spinning object can occupy the same energy state (aka section of road) at any one time.
This would make it highly unlikely that I'd see another 8 while driving mine, and much more likely when driving anything else.
There are some exceptions to the rule:
- when one or more objects aren't spinning, e.g. parked
- when the "pre-arrangement factor" is applied
- when approaching/leaving known hotspots
I do get acknowledged by other yellow cars when in my 8, anything from a Clio to a Porsche, so this could have something to so with colour shift when approaching relativistic speeds
