Very tempted, though how the hell I'm gonna get the old ones out without extreme violence I don't know
he probably used either silicone or stikaflex, so good luck with that.., they put entire cars together with stikaflex (lotus elise and vauxhall vx220 anyone) so its going to be BF&I im afraid...

Whenever they did they also lost the passenger side metal cover somehow, which must have taken skill #-o
There isn't a metal cover on the passenger side, or even on the drivers side on the very early UK cars, or JDM.

The metal cover was added from 2004, as part of the Thatcham security requirements, to stop someone getting to the back of the boot lock by smashing through the drivers side light unit.

Probably refitted them using silicone which will never bridge! I used non setting roofing mastic on mine but have yet to test the result by trying to remove the lights!

Took mine for a short trip to visit a fellow club member with a slightly (we hope!) broken grey 05 plate.
If the problems turn out to be minor then I think he's picked up a bargain. It has PZ door mirrors and spoiler and standard Mazda wheels but in grey which suit the car very nicely.

Finally cleaned the significant bug splatter from my windscreen. Also treated the car to a post Pembrey oil and filter change and replaced a side light bulb whilst I was feeling productive...

Got the drivers airbag and fuel pump recalls sorted at the weekend, fitted Racing Beats radiator protectors and painted covers under the bonnet so a productive weekend.

Well yesterday at Pembrey technically. First track day since I ported and rebuilt the motor 1500 miles ago. Pleased immensely that it all held together and ran faultlessly, well if I ignore the slight coolant blow off that is, but it was a very hot day.

Oh the joy of a long bolt suspension head snapping clean off with no space to get a drill etc in. That’s four hours of my life I won’t get back! Got it off and out tho, haha.
