Could tie this into the Sunday after Dan's BBQ Pete? I think people are camping and they could go from drive and lunch on Sunday before heading back perhaps?

Okay, so Pete is currently a rather busy fellow. So I promised I would attempt to get some people for this.

The venue should be absolutely beautiful in summer.

Date would still be TBC until we have some idea on figures. Probably a sunday still being best however. I know there are a few people kicking about in my part of the country who are after a meet a little closer! This may not be regular but we could possibly figure out something in person!

depending on time/date this is something i might be interested in on my way through - bit far for a special trip but if I'd be along the M5 anyway around the right time I can probably arrange it to line up; nearest dates I could make work are 4th & 17th/18th Aug. if it becomes a (semi-)regular thing I'd also probably drop in from time to time
