Crumbs, cream and potentially jam in the car pending cake selection........ Indeed it is the hard line 😂😂😂 but more importantly seen as this thread is toast now, why dont i see your name on the snowdonia drive thread yet?
As lovely as that would be, I don't want to tie up another weekend as i've got a fair chunk on outside of work and i'm hoping to see my mates for a bit too before they head back off to uni :( got Japfest on the 4th sep weekend so spare time is getting thin on the ground! You'll have to go this one without me :p apologies!

As above, I wouldn't bother with a minimap unless you've got a decat and wanna get rid of the EML
Compared to the s1 yeah there is not as much to change but it’s still worth tweaking a few settings.

You can change a few numbers here and there along with any CEL deletes. Worth changing the idle, I think most are around 800 and one is 7xx or the other.
The 2nd rad fan still comes in at 105 so I’ve dropped that on mine, same with the engine coolant threshold for unlocking the upper Rev limit which is 70oC stock.

the work trip I'm taking on Friday involved a overnight stop and drive back on Saturday. I'd persuaded them that it was a good idea to let me use my personal car (always a good move for me as it has cruise control and is more comfortable, a good move for them as it does double the mpg). the plan is to drop in at the BBQ on the way back and possibly stay overnight.

I was then wobbling towards using the rx8 instead despite no cc, aircon or general comfort :D but the bleeding thing has failed its mot and there is no availability until next week for a retest.

looks like I'm coming in the Astra :( never mind, at least its comfortable.

Really? The astra is more comfortable than your rx8? I find mine very comfy, i even had a comment the other day that the recaros are more comfortable than my mercedes seats........ Cruise control, climate control, auto wipers and lights, elec every thing and smooth quiet engine with no diesel clatter. If only it didnt do 20mpg, i would use it daily.

Likewise here, my RX8 is certainly not built for comfort. This was really apparent when I had that Nemesis briefly and that was so pleasant to drive, only marred by the PZ suspension!

So, whose feeling daring and loves bleeding brakes? 😂 Tempted to bring my brake fluid since I've never done it before and having assistance would be great.

The potential issue is Ollie that if a nipple snaps off and is slightly open then your car will be stuck at Dans. I am sure there will be willing hands to guide you if you’re sure you want it doing.
