Dorset 52nd Birthday Surprise Meet - Sunday 9th January 2022
So I bet Azam would like to know how this all got arranged without him knowing anything
It all started with a brief chat when Azam disappeared to the Rest Room on Sunday 19th December when Claire said we should see if it's possible to put a Meet on Azam's Birthday
, meanwhile we then said our goodbyes and then took Azam for a quick spin in the Tesla, meanwhile he was suggesting holding a Dorset Meet in January before or after his Operation, little did he know what planning was about to start
So on Boxing Day Claire rang me and said lets do it, but how do we contact everyone without using the Forum
, I then suggested that most of the members are on Facebook, so leave it to me to set up a Messenger Group and then contact the other three members via PM
Another spanner in the works was the planned Zoom Committee Meeting that had to then be changed aswell
, so that involved date changing within the Committee Area aswell
Once it was changed, then told Claire it was a go
, so loads of texting and phone calls running up to the 9th without Azam finding out and most of the time he was in bed asleep while I was texting back and forth with Claire
So we then decided who was doing what and then the plans were rolling with messages back and forth in the Online Messenger aswell
Meanwhile Claire contacted your specialist to find out when you were likely to go into Hospital, so as the planning wouldn't all be for nothing
So Azam this is the following list of members who agreed to make your day special, because lets face it you deserved this from all the past Dorset Meets you had done, plus we weren't able to celebrate your 50th as planned because of Covid-19

Then this was the briefing sent via Messenger and via PM
This is the outline to what Claire, and I have planned for this coming Sunday.
Please consider if you have any sign of Cold, Flu or Covid on Sunday Morning, not to make the journey as we need to keep Azam safe! He’s waiting for a life-threatening operation, which hopefully will take place before the end of the month!!!!
Haynes Motor Museum,
Sparkford,
Yeovil,
Somerset,
BA22 7LH
The plan is to meet at Haynes Motor Museum just slightly before 10am.
When you drive in, please turn left to park the car. If you turn right, you will be asked to pay £5 to park in the back car park for the breakfast meet!!
You will then make your way to the Museum/Cafe750 at 10am to sit down in the restaurant for Hot and Cold Drinks, Cake or Sandwiches etc… (Bacon Rolls are available from the Burger Van in the Breakfast Club Area) ….to then wait for Azam’s arrival. Remember this is going to be a big surprise for him, as he just thinks he’s coming for breakfast with Claire.
At 12pm we will leave Haynes in convoy led by Matt for a little drive around the countryside for about 30 to 40mins. Pat will position himself somewhere in the middle of the convoy and will have a copy of the route, so please stick like glue to either Matt or Pat’s car to save you getting lost. Jazz is very kindly going to bring up the rear….
Lunch is then booked for 1pm at the following address:
The Half Moon,
Salisbury Road,
Shaftesbury,
SP7 8BS
Carvery Roast is available along with the Normal Menu.
We then say all our goodbyes about two to three hours later…………
Many thanks for all your continued support.

Then this message from Claire, to clarify a few points of interest that I sort of forgot
Hi all,
Hope you're all looking forward to tomorrow
Can I first ask, are any of you booking in for the breakfast club?
If not, can you all park in the left carpark but on the return side in the centre. (Not wall side)
So driving in, then going back round towards the exit, so all cars are as hidden as possible from us when we drive in and hopefully he won't notice them as we enter Haynes (Spaces permitting of course)
Haynes opens at 10 and Ali knows the area we need to meet in the restaurant.
But basically, it's down the steps and on the left. (Red area)
If I can ask for everyone to be inside just after 10, so we don't meet anyone outside. I'm hoping to arrive about 10.15
(In the event we should bump into you outside, just please act surprised and make out it's a coincidence and you came to the breakfast club)
I will have a copy of the route for everyone with me.
But please don't mention that we are going for a drive or lunch, I'm hoping he will just think its a coffee meet up then be surprised when we all leave together

Any questions lol
Xx
Today's Convoy didn't quite go to plan, but it all worked out in the end
So as you can see Azam the love from everyone was actioned
and it was just a matter of you not putting a spanner in the works, by not turning up today
