I'm planning a driving day in the peaks and I thought it would be an excellent idea to invite along anyone who's interested.
Whilst I'm open to suggestions from anyone with more local knowledge, I'm thinking we start at 10:30 from the Yeaveley Arms car park (in Yeaveley near Ashbourne, SE side of the Peaks).
Then drive up to Macclesfield via the Cat and Fiddle run (via A515 and A537).
Then up to Glossop for Lunch at the Royal Oak Inn and back down via the A57 and Snake Pass.
Had mis-written as Snakebite Pass, but that just takes me back to my student days, hohoho.
Then back to the Yeaveley Arms, perhaps for a drink and dinner.
Obviously as I'm based SE of the Peaks this is mostly suited to my location, but anyone can still enjoy tagging along for just a single leg with company and the spare leg solo (or at least without me, but with other guys) if it suits.
I'm thinking April Sunday 19th or 26th, with some flexibility regarding which to try and avoid naff weather.
Let me know if you're interested
