I am becoming more confused by the day in trying to run this. i now read that Nick can no longer make this meet, yet i was totally unaware that he was even considering it, having read nothing on here directly from him. I also read that Dave is on the list of definites, yet i have heard nothing from him directly either. Could some one please help me out here?, thanks rob.

Just a thought but would it not be easier for people attending to post the fact on here, thus taking away the, if, but and maybe option, especially if definite figures are needed to book the restaurant.

Perhaps this meet has simply ran its course. i am aware that priorities change over time , and circumstances are probably different than they were at its inception.
i will not bump this from now on, it is clearly displayed in the club calendar for all to see, let's see what happens by Feb 6th.

We're heading "up norf" this coming Friday, as it's my Dad's 80th Birthday (and he lives in Shrewsbury). Got something to do in Birmingham on the Saturday (Guitar Building workshop!), and we're planning on travelling up and staying over (in Brum) on Friday night...
There's a *slim chance* I may be able to pop over to this meet!
