Yeah, thanks for the feedback Rich, unless anyone thought differently that was about where I was heading too. I regard the Barley Mow as a worthy experiment that didn't pan out. If we didn't get any more interest there was no point in moving further away for the sake of it.

We'll be moving back to the lovely Appleby Inn in Swadlincote as only my regulars turned up for the Cannock venue. That said, I'm also getting married soon so I'll have to see if anyone else wants to host for a bit.

Does anyone want to host the next meet at the Appleby Inn, because I'm going to struggle to be there this month as I'm getting married (appalling excuse, I know)?

Failing that we can skip April and pick up in May.

I'll try and make the April one and not the may one as that falls between AGM and the peak District day out. I'm happy to book a table for 4 as it's unlikely to be more than that.

Here's a thought, do we want to stick with Sunday lunchtimes or swap out to Thursday evenings now that the clocks have gone back?
It does let people attend who struggle with the Sundays.

I'd rather stick with Sunday lunchtime. That is unless someone actually replies to this thread saying they would definitely come on Thursday but not Sunday. I'll give it a few days and if no replies I'll book it for Sunday. The car has cost me a fortune this month so I need a reason to drive it or it can go back on eBay.
