Nah, I popped over to the Inn as I fancied the drive but no-one was there and I didn't fancy expanding my waistline by myself

Sorry again for not making yesterday. Maybe it's time to look at having a merged get together as for whatever reason fewer regulars or newcomers are turning up. I hope to attend some meets next year before the car falls to pieces.

Don't worry about you missing last weekend Rich, we all have commitments other than meetups
Other venues are tricky on account of everyone's relative locations. You'll recall I broached the subject a meet or two ago and the Appleby Inn is very central for all the current usuals and occasionals.

I don't know what Rob thinks but maybe we could alternate our respective usual venues with a spot in the middle just to mix it up a bit?

Fine by me, the Appleby is good but more than happy to meet somewhere else. Weekends are easier logistically for me for getting babysitters now we are into winter.

Maybe at a push. There was a meetup near bolsover I think at the end of last year which I didn't know about until after. I replied to that thread about a repeat but predictably noone replied.

Will, our Shropshire meet has had several enquiries asking about other meets in our area and we have pointed them towards yours.
What we can't tell them are the dates for your meets as they seem to have been removed from the calendar, could you please reinstate them so that we can give them the full info. Good luck with the Jan meet, we have steered a few your way, whether they reply or not who knows, rob.
