I'll give it a go for at least another month if that's any good for you. Difficult to get numbers up TBH and no-one from your neck of the woods has joined us, but we'll see how it goes. Add us to the map and maybe it'll help

We had a fun time.

It's a Greene King pub so you know what you're getting. It was comfortable and the service was good even on a Sunday lunchtime. And of course of vital importance is the very large car park it has

Was good, nice big car park. Don't know if all the green king restaurants have the same menu but the fajitas were good and a few beers to choose from. Bit of a drive for me so not sure I will make every meet when it becomes weekday evening. But if noone comes to the next meet it may revert back to Appleby Inn. I know you couldn't make it but it was disappointing nobody else came.

No, not yet Will. She’s not due until June. We’re away at the minute having a few days in the Lake District so will hopefully be able to make the next meet

I'm sorry but I'm really quite ill so I'm going to have to bow out of today's meetup.
I hope you all enjoy your lunch and we'll have to discuss if it's worth sticking with Cannock and the Varley Mow in future.

In my view if it was going to be the three of us and now two (me and Chris) then the experiment hasn't worked and we should consider going back to Appleby. I asked PaulAV if he was coming to any more meets and his response was Barley was too far away. Appleby is easier for me to get to.

Think the consensus Will is return to the Appleby. Barley Mow is good and a nice twisty drive from Derby but it's too far away for me when it becomes a weekday evening. Noone new has come along either.
