OH I don't suppose either of you (or anyone else coming) has a battery charger I could borrow.
My 8 will be SORN'ed for another couple of months and I think it'd serve my battery well to get a top up before May.

Thanks for your help Rich. P0037 is an O2 sensor but I cleared the fault after I got home and it's not come back yet but I've only idled so far. Fingers crossed.

Not an official RX8 meetup but I met a friend for lunch at our old haunt so thought I'd put up a picture and try my cheap Amazon battery/alternator voltage tester (bought mainly for the honda jazz as the idle stop doesn't work so checking if battery is nearly eol). But rx8 alternator seems ok and battery is only a year old).
