I've been mulling this over and I've concluded, in light of the way "c" numbers are rising rapidly, I'm going to give this (and other social gatherings) a miss for a at least a couple of weeks to see how things progress.
If we all carry on as normal, the maths/probabilities are clear, the more we are in the proximity of others, the quicker this virus will spread, potentially overwhelming the NHS with the result more people will die. It seems surreal, but it's all too real, regrettably
