Essex & Adjoining Counties Brunch Meet - SUNDAY, 23 March 2025

The next meet, starting with breakfast and followed by an optional ~1hr drive afterwards, will take place on Sunday, 23 March at 10am in the Braintree area. :D

Red & Black and I test drove a route to the north of Braintree, including Sible Hedingham, Great Bardfield, Thaxted and Dunmow. The roads were great and the drive superb in the sunshine 8)

The start point, with a table booked for breakfast at 10am, will be at The Apple Tree restaurant, Gosfield Lake, Church Road, Halstead CO9 1UD. Further details and the breakfast menu can be found here: https://theappletreegosfield.co.uk/

Fuller details of the meet to follow on page 52, but please post up your interest in this meet (together with +1's etc), so we can get an idea of numbers and can enquire at some brunch places we have in mind.

I hope to make the next meet and would be happy to try the Diner. Have driven past it loads of times since it reopened. It was the "Eight Ball", or something like that, then shutdown for quite a while I think?

No problem with change of venue for me certainly, and yes it used to be the Eight Ball Diner where we finished the breakfast run one time.
Now a distant memory unfortunately.

There's another car meet there on the 28th I think they're called 3D or something like that. Its a club thats open to all and is more about the detailing than any particular marque, but there should be room for all of us
