Quite a nice drive, there's some road works in silver end and a 3 way traffic control

Re: Essex & Adjoining Counties Meet - FRIDAY ***TBA***
Managed to drop a exhaust pipe on the front wing, I have taken it off and taken it to the body shop, plus there’s a few new things being sprayed as well, but will reveal all once it’s all back together. What work are you doing to it?
I could bring the XC60 but that’s a bit boring, the Kuro is going in for a new engine next week, so that will be back on the road soon.

Yep, I'll join you!
Possible coffee stop? Near the end of the route:
https://www.oliversplants.co.uk/black-horse-caf%C3%A9/
I don't know the place, but it's garden centre on our route, so plenty of parking, open on Sunday, Covid secure (we'll need masks to order), tables outside by the look of it, so warm clothes maybe!

Depending on what time you go you may find it quite busy as it's a popular place with the blue rinse brigadecasey wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 2:19 pmYep, I'll join you!

Mrs Smutty has caught up with my lack of job completion. So I've had to create loads of jobs to do on the 8 to avoid doing those jobs! And the cheeky mare has asked/instructed me to wash her mummy bus tomorrow!

Sheeesh Gary. Hope all that gets sorted without too much hassle.
I can't go anywhere that'll track and trace guys as I can't risk getting the phone call afterwards telling me to isolate for another 2 weeks. Got to protect what work there is left. But it's near the end of the drive so absolutely no complaints from me if you guys stop off at Olivers Plants

Re: Essex & Adjoining Counties Meet - FRIDAY ***TBA***
Many thanks to Neil and Ian for organising this run out
Jackie Mothersole came along with Ian, with Haydn also bringing his car too, making thoroughly enjoyable, 4 car, covid-19 compliant 2+ hour convoy around Essex and a bit of Suffolk. It including some scary single track lanes, but traffic was thankfully very light. The bright sunshine made it very pleasant indeed, with the damp roads, lots of deep puddles and piles of wet leaves keeping us alert!
Towards the end of the run we stopped at the Black Horse Cafe for a photo opportunity, where Haydn departed, leaving the rest of us to sit and enjoy internet-ordered coffees at an outside table in the bright sunshine.

Well that was a nice fun little drive out. Was quite worried when it started raining at 9am and the forecast had completely changed from what it showed the day before, but turned out we had excellent weather.
Would be good to try to get another one in before the end of the year. Maybe a Christmas run sometimes after Brands Hatch??

Hey @NeMFO
I've been toying with the idea of having the front number plate and Mazda logo removed and getting an adhesive number plate stuck on the front - looks like you've done the same.
Any issues with MoT?

Re: Essex & Adjoining Counties Meet - FRIDAY ***TBA***
Would anyone else be up for doing another Sunday drive in December? (obviously subject to CV19 restrictions)
I think the arrangements and approx route from last time worked well - meeting at ~10:30.
Post up which date(s) you are free and we can go with the majority.
