Interest in this meet had declined with people moving on to other cars and not frequenting the forum so I thought I would call it a day organising a regular monthly meet. Having done so I now realise that that I miss those monthly chats, banter and abuse so I have reopened this topic to see if there is still interest in having a regular meet.
Possible meets in the summer are a breakfast meet and drive afterwards, a mid morning meet and drive followed by lunch or an afternoon drive.
Anything is possible but not without interest and attendees so post up your suggestions reference the above.

Not sure why that would have required the whole thread to be locked, but there we go.

I'd be interested subject to location and dates. Harder to get out in the evenings with a little one, but if I can make it I would. Being somewhat selfish, the nearer up this way towards Evesham etc. the better for me - but happy to go with a consensus.

I requested the thread be locked as at the time I considered that the "event" had run its course and thus the thread was no longer active.
Potential routes for a drive out could include Evesham as there are a few places on the bypass we could use for a coffees etc;

Great chat banter tonight, mostly about our respective ailments to start with! We did touch on car matters a few times though and funnily enough talked about the forum and monthly meets / events in general.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening with a great group.

I spent mine sat on the M40 for well over an hour with the engine off by J16. The air ambulance flying over was not a good sign. 6 hrs drive home total after an 11hr day. Strange how you suddenly need the toilet when your trapped somewhere without one....

What about postponing this one and organising something a little different
I was talking to team Pat at Castle Combe who may be able to do a Sunday.
How about somewhere like the hunters hall at Kingscote ( green king ) so cheap

The date of Sunday 15th October could be a potential clash with the CL4W meet that is being planned at the moment

Oops! As Pat and Caren are regulars on the CL4W drives that’s not good. Classic example of changing a meet date without checking the events calendar.
