How about all meeting up in some way :?: , seeing Pubs inside are off limits :(

Maybe do a little drive in some way

Are there any Pubs/Fast Food in the area doing Take Aways or Roadside Food Vans in the area :?:

Outside Meet would be possible seeing we all have Camping Chairs for Events we go to with the Club :thumright:

I think you'll find we missed June 3rd #-o  July 1st would be the next one.

I guess a drive and take away wouldn't be out of the question - I don't know of any burger vans or whatever or where we might drive to (or meet up to start) though. :-k

Just received an e-mail saying that the Fairmile will re-open on Monday 6th July. Bookings have to be made in advance and naturally there are reduced tables but not sure on number restrictions. Sure we can keep a safe distance in our usual room?

Our usual room probably won't be available as it may be used to extend the Social Distancing of the tables in the Pub Area

Also all future Monthly Meets will require booking beforehand including all contact details and possibly advanced food orders for large groups :!:

The best thing is to wait and see how things pan out within the next few months

I agree with the drive and outdoor meet as social distancing etc  would be possible, anyone know some good places to meet and drive to? I was thinking everyone could meet in one place, drive to another place with plenty of space and then have a mini meet there?

Post by GreySilver Beast »

***ATTENTION***

Right Boys and Girls I have sorted out a route today from Cobham Services to Boxhill where we can park discreetly and use our camping chairs to social distance from each other according to the GG's =D>

Cobham Services has a big Car Park, so could park down the bottom on the left hand side of the Ramada Hotel where all the Coaches Park :thumleft:

There is enough time to grab something to eat if you like as you have 1hr 59mins before you have to be seen to be driving out of the Car Park by all the Cameras =D>

We could then go in Convoy along the M25 to come off the Leatherhead A243 slip road towards Dorking A24

I will of course pull over to give you all a chance to catch up with me, then we make our way to a Roundabout where we take the first exit towards Headley and then onto Boxhill :thumleft:

There is enough parking on top of Boxhill, although not sure if there is a charge after 8pm #-o

We can then park up and get our chairs out and have a right old natter  , also bring some drinks with you if you want too :P

Will post a date up for July :thumright: , so all that remains to be said, is who's interested in joining me on this run :?:

Hi Nigel,

My car is still in a few bits, actually more than a few :crybaby: . My mate is turning some bits of metal for me on Monday so I can push the bushes into the lower control arms. IF this gets done, maybe I can finish the car next week. :thumright:

If not, I might pop along on the bike (weather permitting) and share a brew with you all.
