Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
Not wrong. Look at any insurance comparison website or talk to any insurer. Your premium will always go up with the amount of miles your doing until a certain point. Sure, some specialists might not work in the same way but the majority of insurance providers do. It's essentially your word against there's as to how many you've done and how many have been done by other people in your car on other policies. It's an easy way to lower your premium just to say others are racking up the miles.

Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
You are completely wrong and I would say very inexperienced in getting specialist insurance from a broker.
My policy is based on trust not evidence. I use a proper company not an internet site that uses a complex formula to decide how much of a liar your likely to be. Your experience of using the 'internet' rather than speaking to a person is rather limited.
I get 5 trackdays value of about £400 on a £375 policy that includes 6000 road miles. As my car is used for trackdays and this is perfect for my needs as a customer. If I decided to lend my car to someone and they put 20,000 miles on it on their policy then I would not be peanalised in the slightest as I dont get asked to tell them how many miles I am currently on (this is called trust), I dont get asked to take pictures of my mods (trust again) just declare what they are, to provide a copy my license (more trust). All they ask me is to give a value in my case 10k if I was to write the car off. This limits the fully comp part of the liability (simple maths). If I write it off on the road its 9500 to me if I do it on track its 8500. Then they calculate a 3rd party liability based on my age and driving history.
There are better insurance companies out there than the one size fits all mass market how many miles do you drive your fiesta companies when it comes to limited miles on a track day car. I cant actually believe your trying to defend AF especially when you appear to know nothing about the options in the market place.

Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
You seem to be very confrontational don't you? If you read my last comment properly you'd know I'm talking about the majority of mainstream insurers. Not specialists like you previously mentioned.
If you'd like to take your patronising manner elsewhere it would be much appreciated. This thread doesn't need any childish bitching or 'one upping' from you.

Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
Sorry Paddy its just that your wrong and coming across as both unable to read, and unable to comprehend that the default position your peddling shows that you are out of touch with the insurance market and your opinion is worthless.Paddy2691 wrote:Adrian Flux, along with I'm sure all other insurers don't look into the policy in that much detail unfortunately. Simply put the more miles your doing the higher chance there is of an accident, so the higher risk you are. They can't tell whose doing what miles on the car and the odometer is the only way of telling.
Insurers can't trust any customers as the sheer amount that lie is a huge proportion just to try and lower their premium so unfortunately everyone has to be treated the same.
Perhaps you shouldnt post when you dont have any knowledge of the subject?

Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
Hahaha. Sorry I was unaware that your in the business of insurance and from insuring your car a few times from specialist providers you have such an infallible position. I bow down to your great knowledge and arrogance.....grow up. This was a thread not an argument.

Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
I dont claim to be an insurance expert but I do understand how it works. I am able from my own experience able to entirely contradict your poorly formed judgmental views. The OP has used my advice to help solve his issue so I am happy that my contribution to this thread has been useful in helping him you on the other hand are both childish and have offered nothing useful. Like I said a few posts ago. Your wrong. Admit it and move on rather than trolling.

Re: Adrian Flux Complaints
You might also want to get a quote from REIS if you want some inclusive trackdays on your policy (4 included). I've been with them for 4 years and reckon each trackday adds only about £25 to my standard road policy cost.
