How many miles does your rx8 cover in a year

I have my car on a limited mileage insurance policy,5000 km per year and has to be verified each year.last year I did 1060 km about 650 mile ,I didn’t realize I was so low.is this the lowest for a fully road legal car.

Im about the same. Insured to 2-3000 I think but lucky to ever see 1000pa.

However that is now going to drop significantly now the car has been moved to a summer+weekend car.

I do about 1-1.5k miles a year. But thats mainly travelling to shows as if I just stayed local id do about 100 a month for the 6 months its taxed

It’s good to know I am not the only one with a garage queen,I must make the time to enjoy it more.
Also as bad is the fact that the black car has done one track day this year.I think work life balance has gone wrong somewhere.

Did nearly 300 miles alone last weekend.

I got my insurance in December with 3,000 miles limited mileage per annum, which i am about to hit this week, so a phone call to my insurers tomorrow will be in order to increase it a few more thousand.

My advice would be don’t ever calculate the pence per mile

I may have mentioned this before but with many superbikes the pence per mile on tyres was more than fuel - at least it was before fuel prices went nuts - but have you seen the prices for bike tyres

I can beat that Del.

Rexy has only done 22k and is insured for 1,000 miles per year, which is more than enough.

It does spend more than half the year SORN to save on that tax.

Ann last year it went for its MOT and when I went to collect it my friendly neighbourhood MOT tester said "I`m afraid its failed - you haven`t done enough miles" and it had done a whopping 687 miles that year.

Think I need to put mine on SORN now.
