Hey Team
I've just installed a 'b tier' android head only to find that I get a meaty speaker thump when I turn off ignition\power down the head,
and before I take the console to bits (yet again) I wondered if anyone has experience with the Bose amp power up\down process?
I had assumed that 'amp remote' would power down the amp cleanly as soon as the head turned off;
So either I was very optimistic and I am enjoying OEM amp behavior, or my b grade head doesn't switch 'amp remote' off immediately.
If it's a head issue then I should be able to knock up a dodgy solution, if it's a limitation of the Bose then I am going to have to live with it and hope it implodes so I can justify replacement amp\speakers.
Anyone have knowledge\experience they can share?

Re: Bose amp power down process
is the head unit you are running designed to work with external amps or does it have an amp built in?
Thanks, Stu

Re: Bose amp power down process
try the other outputs, Line level is going to be using the output from the internal amp in the head unit you risk damaging the external amps and speakers.poor_lackey wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:37 amHi, It has both and I am using the line level outputs.
Thanks, Stu
