Aftermarket oil cooler options, specifically Mishimoto's universal one
Hey, due to some horribly botched job (not me obviously ) I need an oil cooler. Would this fit a series 1 RX8? If anyone has any experience or recommendations for aftermarket oil coolers it'd be very welcome, preferably in the £200-300 range. Thanks

Given enough time and effort, pretty much anything can be made to fit, but unless you've got an extremely modified front end, nothing it going to fit as easily or efficiently than oem.
The Mazda coolers have corrosion issues with the lines to the engine but the coolers themselves very rarely fail, despite having no stone protection.
Used units are plentiful, as there's so little demand, and you just need to flush through before fitting, in case it come from an engine with bearing issues.

Oh that's cool, I thought oil coolers were one of those things that's best to get new. In that case I'll go with a used cooler and the RRP lines.
