Rusty sills :(

Post by Royceybaby »

Sadly after standing for too long, my car has both sills needing to be replaced. I have seen threads on here that say it normally isn't worth the effort.

Stil I want to get some opinions, rough costs and maybe someone local to me that could possibly do the job if it makes sense (I live near High Wycombe).

Over to you... :(

Pop up a few photos of what's visible, I'm sure someone can advise on the extent of the repair required.

Rust can be deceiving at both ends of the scale; sometimes the scariest looking can be the easiest to fix, while some of the most innocuous looking can turn out to be terminal.

There are several eBay listings for rx8 sills and even rear quarter repair panels, for the sills and repair panels(which appear to be most of the rear end quarter) it's less than £300
