Hey guys,
I had to pull my oil pan now I'm in the process of cleaning it before fitting it back onto the engine. I was wondering how you managed to clean the part underneath the baffle-plate? I already ran a liter of break clean trough it and blew it out with compressed air but it seems to still not be 100% clean
Thanks for your help
regards Julian

Re: Oil pan cleaning
Just remove the baffle plate and those plastic bits.

Re: Oil pan cleaning
Hi, sorry for the late reply, been on vacation the last couple of days.
I'm talking about this plate, is it really removable? I thought it was fixed to the sides of the oil pan.

Re: Oil pan cleaning
Oooh! That’s not the same as mine. You will just have to flush that through well after soaking in degreaser.

Re: Oil pan cleaning
Interesting to see that there are different oil pans out there apparently. Thanks for the help Chris
