Indeed i have made the leap and stretched to secure a mint condition original R3. Pictures to follow with perhaps a full write up and new project thread, though it belongs more in a musuem than being tinkered with i think? Who knows what the future holds for it. Only just got it back and tucked away in the garage.....

Tinker away... Just keep the stock bits for re-attachment ;) that's my theory anyways  definitely looks like a keeper, and a lovely example. Would love to see a project thread like others I'm sure, even if it's just loads of glorious photos :colors:

Hey, if ever you sell up in the distant future... :sign:

I dont think it has ever been driven in the wet before or rarely. All the stickers on the wings, boot, rear qtrs and engine covers with part numbers are all still in mint condition and present, the sunvisors even have the little stickers from manufacture on them stating L and R side with part numbers. All receipts from Mazda and a few various age full printouts of the digi service record. The engine covers still have slight faded stickers on the filter box etc from Mazda. All tool kit and oil pack present. Its like a time warp back to 2010..... Makes me want to throw a cover over it and leave it locked away.

The pic needs to be under 3MB (from memory). If you want it resizing, send a copy and I can do it for you.
If you really want to change your username (DrewR3?), also drop me a PM and I can do that for you too.

I've also been actively looking for a replacement R3, and this had me considering when it popped up recently, given it's low mileage!
I'm guessing that the mileage only told part of the story, as it sounds absolutely impeccable. 8)

Good to see an 8 back in the garage then? :D

Also, I'll have some news of my own soon..

Yes i thought it was going to be a great example with the fitted garage cover included and low miles. Normally a good sign when someones had it covered. After a good look round with my friend who is a trader and accident repairer we were able to find 1 tiny pin point chip on the roof and a small mark on the bonnet. The wheels are mint and original but 2 stone chips on spokes between all 4.

Can definitely recommend Krown. Robert knows his stuff and gets into every nook and cranny. My experience is also in that thread, but for the money and long term keeping it's a no brainer :thumleft:
