Following on from my on going cutting out issues, I stumbled across a thread on rx8club.com.

Versatuner admitted it was a fault with the map and released a patch.
Does anyone know what the actual fix was?
I'm emailed mazdaedit and they haven't heard of it before, but I'm displaying exactly the same symptoms.
Hopefully someone has some knowledge (Brettus) and I can finally get this issue put to bed.

Had you mentioned that it had a Mazdaedit map loaded?

To mazdaedit, yes.
Whenever versatuner do an update, mazdaedit follow suit...
I haven't emailed versatuner as they would most likely tell me to bugger off
