I need something I can swap in for the MOT test (in lieu of a full exhaust upgrade with a good quality cat), does anyone have any experience with the likes of these:

Presumably being type approved they'd get through an MOT, they're just not the kind that last very long, right?

Will get you through MOT no problem. You’re right, they don’t tend to last long and you can feel the more restrictive exhaust flow in how the car drives.

I have one similar, use it for a month a year, before switching to the decat, and should last you a life time,,
