I messaged the guys at Kraken on eBay and they recommended the 100cel to remove the smell with minimal restrictions. I just haven't gotten around to it yet!
What spec and price they say? I’m looking at 3inch un-silenced Jobbie.

I did have a peak at what's on offer, I'm looking at standard fitment, say's both 100 and 200 in stock, but I don't know how real time the site is. Fair few bobs for some thing I don't really need hence thinking of re-sell after I'm done with it, the £30 post is a bit of a sting for some thing that max 10kg box weight.

Are you hinting that your current fitted 100 cell will be going spare shortly Carl? I like my good's new, but I guess for some thing like this that doesn't really matter.
200 Cels will be in stock in a couple of weeks, I did have one 100 Cel but that went only a few days ago, the rest and from now on 100 Cels will be built to order. My personal will be up for grabs when I'm done with it as I'll be moving to what I posted above. :)

£30 is what is costs me, once you go over 1m in length it gets rather pricey to post, its less to do with weight but size. They weigh approx 6Kgs.

Really interesting thread :D Also a timely one for my RX8! The (I assume) OEM cat currently fitted has a hairline fracture - I'm considering replacing it with something a little freer-flowing once the MOT is sorted in early June. I'll likely go 200 cel, if there's a chance of passing emissions without needing to switch it out that would be ideal.

Hopefully this isn't too off-topic, I was wondering if anyone had a view on resonated vs not? Plan is to use it with a Cobra catback and would like to keep the noise level 'reasonable' ;)

I'd keep the resonator
I've got a toyo back box and did have a stock midpipe with a aftermarket cat
then the stock resonator fell apart so I replaced it with a straight bit of pipe
and it was just too loud for everyday use
I've since welded another straight through silencer back in

My RRP 200 CEL cat passed the MOT with flying colours. My R3 seems more responsive and I like the sound.

I am eyeing up exhausts and sports cats.....depending on if TPS find any issues with the R3 tomorrow I may be going down the rabbit hole.
