I think this is a relatively common problem and I’m 90% sure I saw a post where someone fixed this themselves but wanted to know what people are doing generally?
Is it better getting the whole thing re-sealed?

Re: Rear screen
Well I'm not saying I did the right thing as I winged it on mine but.
Cleaned the area its going on with some soapy water on a microfiber towel and dried it, got some gorilla super glue, the clear stuff not the expanding stuff pushed it back in and used a flat head to push it all the way in, held it for a few minutes then shut the boot.
It's been fine for the past 3 months even with all the rain, frost etc so hopefully it worked.

Re: Rear screen
The only thing I would suggest is that any adhesive/sealer you use should be flexible when set to allow for different expansion/contraction rates of the glass and bodywork.

Re: Rear screen
The bond has failed between the glass and the original sealant.
This means that anything you can get down the gap is between those two surfaces, not the glass and the body itself.
This is good in that it doesn't have to be flexible but could also be a challenge get it to stick.
I'd try the UV Activated glue they use for sticking rear view mirror mounts on the inside of windscreens, though you would need a UV light, as the sun's not strong enough this time of year.

Re: Rear screen
I wonder if that's thin enough to get into the gap. If it is then it should certainly do the job.
Might help to warm it first and warm the area (gently) with a hair dryer.

Re: Rear screen
I waited till the summer and after a few hot days to dry out the condensation I filled it with black psv window bond, and held the rubber in position until set
