black friday deals

Post by Deanmclone »

Good morning guys and gals

in the process of getting my RX8 back on the road as i miss driving it and been sat in the garage for too long

with it being black Friday does anyone know of anywhere doing some good deals for parts i do need some new plugs as i have a sneaky suspicion they are fakes going to check them today

also.. i noticed the clutch doesn't feel as though it depresses all the way would the fluid have something to do which this as its not been changed in years so could this of deteriorated?

thanks

Dean

Euro Car Parts have up to 40% discount sale on, use code: BF20 at checkout.

Yes clutch fluid can degrade over time, so worth a change.

If your clutch does need replacing, do not go for a cheap option, Exeedy clutch will serve you very well.

Good luck with getting your car back on the road.

All I can suggest is to check out the prices with the various rotary specialists and not to buy from unknown eBay sellers. Until you start the engine any clutch issues will be difficult to identify but a likely one is the clutch friction disc may be stuck to either the cover or flywheel, simply fixed usually by selecting a gear, depressing the clutch and starting the engine, having warmed it up first!
As the car has been stored for a long period changing the brake / clutch fluid is advisable as it could have absorbed water over time.
At least you have the knowledge that it was OK when you last drove it.

thanks i heard people mention the plugs from ecp have been fakes?? not sure how true this is but its now at the back of my mind when ever i look on the site, the clutch was fine before its only got about 20k miles on it so thinking change and bleed the brake and clutch fluid first if its still bad swap out the master cylinder

thanks quite excited to get it back on the road!

I received some NGK plugs from the ECP store on eBay for my WRX which didn't look right (plug gaps were different for every plug) so I returned them and bought from autodoc.

I know essexrotary have a sale on.

As for spark plugs, I know that JP4mance are still offering a great price on them as recently been mentioned.
