That hole is there by design. In the USA it's used for the numberplate light - they only have one, great place for a camera👍
Looked after by Rotary Revs driven hard by me... :D

Mods: Grills, Engine Mounts, Sohn Adapter, D585 Coils, Whiteline Front Antil Roll & Rear Strut Bar, PI Lowering Springs, Rotary Revs Sump Guard, Toyo Catback, Steel Braided Lines, Fumoto Valve, Engine Heater....so whats left to do????

After changing the bulbs to LEDs twice one has failed, one time it caused an MOT failure then I saw these the other day for the RX-8 (never seen them before) so I have bought two sets so the originals will be replaced and a third added.

JDM just use the central light - no holes either side. 8)

(apologies for the dirt - not cleaned since rust proofing at Krown  )

Didn't Robert back it out of the garage afterwards and wash it for you to clean off the excess?

Don't know, I was upstairs keeping warm. Could be blow back from the excess underneath.
I had to get home and he had another car to get in and done, so maybe not. Still impressed with the work either way.
