Good morning,
Sorry if this has been asked before but I looked and did not find. Owned my PZ for almost a year now and love it. It needs a new oil pan due to rust so my question is: is the part number N3H8104AXD the correct oil pan for all models and years of the rx8? I've made the mistake before of ordering a part one year younger and it was a different fit.

Re: Oil Pan Question
The early RX8s have a steel one piece oil pan (Sump)
Up to 2008
Oil filter on back off The engine.
The Later RX8 are a two piece Oil pan (Sump).
From 2008 on
Oil filter on front cover of the engine.
That part number appears to be for the early RX8 steel sump.

Yes I believe so.
And they don’t swap over.

Re: Oil Pan Question
You're correct. Only the R3 has a 2 piece sump. All S1s are single piece and they definitely aren't compatible on R3s and vice versa.

Re: Oil Pan Question
The short answer is Yes - that sump fits all Series 1, including the PZ.
When removing the old one, make sure all the old sealant is cleaned off.
When fitting the new one, make sure no sealant goes into the blind bolt holes, as this would prevent them pulling up fully and can cause the engine case to split - as at least two dealers have done to member's cars.
