srs restraint module fault and front abs sensor signal.

hi,

It seems that my srs restraint module( Air bag ) is showing a fault and that there is a code indicating that the ABS front sensors are not providing signal.

Has anyone seen or had this fault occur?

Is it possible that the srs restraint module was involved in work associated with a recall on air bags? ( my car is a 2003 RX8.)

What fault code are you seeing?

I wasn't aware that the SRS cared if there was or wasn't a signal from the ABS

More like it’s not plugged back in correctly

Remove the glove box and look up you will see if it’s connected, even if it looks like it is try it anyway.

I thought this module was mounted on the gearbox tunnel in front of the gearstick?

The faults may be unconnected, the codes came up when some work was being done to it recently, dont know what code was shown. I'll check the connection in the glovebox area. any further thoughts welcomed.
