Here's something you don't see every day!
It's from one of my customers in Croatia.
Some of you would have seen the RX-7 over the years, it was the Pettit 3 Rotor that came over to our Rotorstock a couple of times with Kees and was also at Rotarystock in the Netherlands. I must have some pictures somewhere.

I thought you were going to say that the red 7 was electric and being connected to that charge point

Christ that poor RX-8 will be a bit over its tow weight I'm sure its rear suspension will be nice and sloppy

The nose weight of that trailer shouldn't be too bad, being twin axle, and at least it doesn't have a rack of race wheels at the front.
Towing limits aren't about the weight on the suspension, they're about the forces on the tow car body and brakes.
The RX8 has powerful brakes, for its weight, but the inertia of that 7 and the trailer could still push the 8 off the road in a corner.
That combination would be illegal in the UK, and most of Europe.

Re: Here's something you don't see every day!
many moons ago when i was young and maybe a little foolish i was into banger racing.some of the tow cars we used scares me now...my mate had a mk1 cortina gt with a heavy trailer behind and a rover 90 or austin westminster on it. another mate had a little old hillman husky van with a homemade heavy trailer with axle towards the rear carrying the same type of car. i had a rover 60 once with 2 holes drilled in the rear bumper to bolt the tow ball on and pulled the same heavy trailers and 30cwt plus cars.....never had a problem
