Xenon headlight white cap

Can anyone with a set of head lights out of the car (or in if you fancy taking them out) please check and let me know where the little white cap goes?



Its a perfect fit for here but there's 2 of these on each light and I only have 2 caps between both of mine.

Interestingly enough I don't have such a bit on my spare headlights anywhere. Nor do I have the place you reckon they go. Though there is something in place of where you think they go but its not similar.

Your spares are halogen. I base that on a sample size of 1. The spare I got for testing has black domes in place of the perhaps capped hole.

My spares came off a 231 though they should definitely be xenon o.O

If it looks like this then I would suspect a halogen conversation. This is all based on my sample size of 1. Unless both of mine are conversations.....

Easy way to tell would be to check the ballast on the bottom.
