Cheapest method: get it sent to a friend/relative in the USA (usually no shipping charge) then send it to you as a gift.
2nd Cheapest: make sure it comes via one of the large US couriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.,); they will sort out all the fees and bill you a price to your door. It is usually quite reasonable.
DO NOT use the Royal Mail by far the most expensive; almost 200% more expensive than UPS in my experience.
