PZ Centre Cap Size

Post by Honkytonk »

On the list of important information I can't find anywhere, does anyone happen to know what the size of the plastic centre caps for the OZ Alloys on the PZ are? I could go and measure my own, but I got 65mm last time and bought some 65mm caps that don't fit, so I'm obviously not trustworthy with anything as complicated than a ruler. #-o

Can check this for you tomorrow morning if nobody can help before.

I have bought black caps from eBay a few times which fit fine on S1 wheels but are too big for PZ , they are 56mm if I remember correctly so PZ must be less than that.

Bloody award winning spin doctor being all clever and such and making it look like I didn't bother to search... Thanks Dave!

I might try the heavy clearcoat refurb method listed in that thread as well actually! I'm missing one cap but the others are still hanging on.

i use 3 small blobs of silicon sealer when i fit mine,it makes sure they stay on. 1 of mine felt a little loose and sure enough it vanished one day, since using sealer they all stay in place even on track days but you can easily push them out from behind if you need them off to change a tyre or something.

Cheers mate, I'm going to buy some of these and see how they fit as I'm guessing the second value is the od.

I've just purchased these from ebay, they are tight and may or may not require a little sanding on the outer edge (my wheels have been refurbished so the powder coating may be thicker than standard) they are a flat plain cap so will require your desired sticker to adorn them. They are cheap enough even with stickers your looking at less than £10 for 4 of them.
