Re: Tein Street Basis Z - wrong instructions?
The images used by suppliers are very often just generic and simply representative the type of part not the specific item.

Ok, so I've ordered the top mount from Autodoc (with the generic image), AND...its the same thing as in the image. I honestly don't think you can get these in Europe. I've wasted so much time looking for them that it would of been cheaper to order them from 'Murica.

Is the actual mount correct but just lacking the boot / bellows?Kamys wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 12:38 pmOk, so I've ordered the top mount from Autodoc (with the generic image), AND...its the same thing as in the image. Re: Tein Street Basis Z - wrong instructions?
Have I missed something or is this the part that is needed and it somehow hasn't been linked yet?
Pretty sure they can be had from Mazda dealers.

Re: Tein Street Basis Z - wrong instructions?
In the order of the reply:
1. It was something totally different, with bearings.
2 That is the part that I'm looking for, but as on that link, its out of stock. Its out of stock anywhere Google can show me. The only place where it is available is Atkinson Rotary, but the shipping price is double the part price.
PS: I'm postponing the search for that dust boot for now as the noise problems were solved when I changed the strut bushings (the 2 rubber doughnuts)

Re: Tein Street Basis Z - wrong instructions?
Yes it will probably be a struggle to get them online in the UK, but have you asked your local Mazda dealer? They've usually managed to get me parts overnight and I do believe sometimes with a small OC discount.
I'm pretty sure (happy to be corrected) that the club stock of them came from a UK Mazda dealer.
