Hi all,
Not sure the best place to stick this (and it's a long shot), but I wonder if anyone has any CAD models of the 8? I'm thinking about the dash in particular, but anything would be a start.

Re: CAD Models of the 8
Grab cad is often a good place to start for these kinds of models.
Edit: just checked grab cad and this time it looks like it is not the best option. The 1 model I found on there is not great.

Re: CAD Models of the 8
Sketchfab has some, but nothing dashboard related sadly:
https://sketchfab.com/search?q=Mazda+RX ... ype=models
EDIT: https://www.3dcadbrowser.com/3dmodels.aspx This website has something listed as 'RX8 Interior (2004)' but the website was so pants it wouldn't load anything for me... So can't vaouch for accuracy/ quality. It's worth noting that the dash board was the same between the LHD and RHD versions and the binnacle itself was the same between the S1 and the R3, just the dials and electrical components differ in the R3.

Re: CAD Models of the 8
https://www.3dcadbrowser.com/3d-model/i ... a-rx8-2004 from Dan's link ^^. Looks like possibly a polished up lidar scan(?) of the interior.
Most of the details look to be there, though in low polygon rendering, including steering wheel buttons etc. The two seatbelt attachments on the B pillars are a bit off - one is embedded in the pillar and the other is floating in free air.

Re: CAD Models of the 8
whilst we're on the subject are there any decent CAD models of the RX8 engine out there? I've found a very sketchy scan on one of the aforementioned sites
but I'd like something better
