Spurred on by this, I've decided to fit this to supplement my engine.

BTW why is Dirk here after saying "All I ever wanted was a cool '78 'Vette and a house in the country."?
 You managed to find an engine thirstier than our 13Bs [-X

the drawback of its current unit is it tops out at 160 g / sec mass airflow and the rexi uses 220g/sec at full pelt
They are still running their Kickstarter so I'd imagine they will come out with various sized units at some point.
The idea of running two does sound ideal to get a smoother response. Those batteries are big though and at 2-3 grand a pop it's starting to look similar to normal turbos cost wise.
Watching videos of single monster turbos just make it look so ridiculous, waiting ages for all hell to break loose for two or three seconds while your driven wheels spin like a blender and your prop snaps! It just looks so impractical. I guess that is why the last REW had a pair.
It has a bypass option to ensure it’s not limiting, I asked them ages ago to give a unit to try but did not work out. Perhaps if people are interested we could say we have 10 buyers base on performance testing?

But don’t you also require a “normal” turbo as this unit only “fills the gap” at lower revs until the main turbo has spooled up.
BMW seem to have lag eliminated with their engines having max torque from 1500rpm with conventional turbos

yes you can run a bypass valve to avoid choking the engine over 6000rpm?
but you're then paying 3K for a device that 'only' fills up the bottom end

I'm not saying that this isn't desirable but I'd want something that could at least give 1psi at full pelt

Is there room for two?

One at low revs, both at higher revs...

Scientifically tested in both series and parallel  Although it's starting to nibble at the cost of a belt driven setup that doesn't need to lug batteries around

Started revisiting this again lol
I have 80AH extra now that I've installed them for my audio setup. There's ample space to fit 4 X Toshiba LTOs in the cargo tray with a 20mm raised false floor.

The extra kW's could be used as a boost to drive a motor
Sourcing a motor might be a mission rhough
