Glad I went for my 19" Michelin PS4S. Damn good tyres and couldn't ask for any more. Expensive, but I ain't about to find out what it's like on ditchfinders.
Ended up replacing all tyres, two being undersized 225/35 "Evergreen Dynacontrol" tyres although I believe they were put on to pass an MOT in a hurry as the car was planned to be sold and the other two were just legal Nexens, so they got binned and the evergreen's are now in the garage for when I want to burn up some rubber on the rear wheels hah!

Told you they were good
Expensive ? You should try buying them for 20" wheels
Worst part about trading in my FK2 was that it had a full set of MPS4S

Hah! My dad joked about me getting a puncture in my new tyres, and also not having a spare. I would really not enjoy the lovely fee of over £160 at the time for the privilege to do so still wouldn't hah! will be fun to see how they do on track though later this yearMARKTHOMASBRAND wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 9:36 pmTold you they were good

Don’t knock it til you try it! I’m running a set of Debicas which were about £45 each - had cords showing on all 4 corners when I bought her and they were in stock at the time. They make the A1M and the countless roundabouts around here much more exciting when it’s raining

Re: Fantastic Tyre Review Test
Many years ago a member brought his new (to him) PZ round so I could help him to do a few minor jobs on it.
As he'd never driven any other example before, he wanted me to take it for a test drive to see how it compared with mine.
We drove down the road and the engine pulled strongly, the brakes were a bit "wooden" and we later confirmed that both front caliper sliders were seized.
However, it was as I entered a slightly damp roundabout that the excitement started, as there was zero turn-in and the car just understeered straight on, very nearly hitting the island. Having regained control I proceeded to go all around the roundabout to take the shortest route home, with the tail out and almost full opposite lock
When we got home and checked the car we discovered that the two rear tyres were mismatched brands we'd never heard of but the fronts were new Pirrelli P-Zeros.
It took a while sitting having a coffee before the penny dropped...
"Pirrelli"? surely that should be "Pirelli" - just the one "R".
Sure enough, some Googling revealed that these were indeed fake tyres, not just the miss-spelt name but a very similar tread pattern, and virtually no grip as soon as the road was damp.
He'd bought the car privately and the previous owner had only had it less than a year, only doing 600 miles, but had sold the car "because the power was scary and his wife wouldn't drive it". Apparently they'd bought it with those tyres fitted...

Hilarious. Didn't even know you get fakes like that.
At least my Brridgestone Sporrt are genuine.... I am pretty sure

Other way around (the tyres weren't fakes) but I did see someone listing a pair of Pirelli P-Zeros on facebook as Firellis

It's a fun B movie. I download everything with that word in the filename, so watched it by accident...

Re: Fantastic Tyre Review Test
I got the conti sport contact 6s in the end from the original video and I have a track day in a couple of weeks.
I got the car with 235/35 on the front and 245/35 on the back and 20mm wheel spacers. I dont feel like I've had any problems but I went for the stock wheel size and took the spacers off.
