Not sure what I may have done wrong?
I replaced the standard box with this,
I put the maf which was running fine, removed the bits which we're not needed, apart from the gubins behind the bumper.
On idle was a bit rough, but drove fine, but wanted to stall coming up to a Junction,
Did the 20 stomp reset and the engine light came on and more uneven revving even though the car was upto temperature.

The vacuum pipe needs blocking but it's unlikely to cause a CEL.
You need to read the code and pinpoint the issue

Re: Engine light after revi air box install
Quick update,
There's one thing I didn't mention, because I didn't think it was a possible cause until I put the code reader in.
I've just replaced my toyo sports 200cell cat with a rrp 100cell cat, drove it a couple of times and it was ace.
It might be a coincidence?
But I have just changed to the revi air box, and I have now got a p0171, lean bank, air box or exhaust?

Re: Engine light after revi air box install
Either a leak or possibly a missing/damaged mesh screen. These are the first things to check.

Re: Engine light after revi air box install
Unmetered air is entering the engine, somewhere. Check the condition of the MAF sensor O-ring and replace it to be safe.Apply a smear of silicon grease to it when refitting the MAF into the intake.

Re: Engine light after revi air box install
So, quick update,
Re checked what I'd done, and didn't do more to the point!.
Firstly, there was no mesh, so I fitted the one from the standard box,
Cleaned and resealed the maf
And caped the vrad,
Cleared the code with my code reader
And took it for a quick thrash and all seems normal again,
Thanks for the advice chaps
