PZ Wheels - What would be a decent price?

Post by Kamys »

Hello rotary-hearted people, I've been searching around for some PZ (Prodrive) wheels, and I found prices ranging from 500£ to 1000£. Normaly, what would be a good price to pay for them? I know free would be the best option, but if I am to go deep in my pockets for a set, is it worth it?

I have a spare set with fairly new (1 scrubbing in session & 1/2 day on a damp track) Nankang NS-2R track tyres on.

Wheels are all straight and true, but cosmetically could do with a refurb. Only 1 centre cap.

I'd let them go for 500 if you were interested.

I’d say it really depends on if the tyres fitted are any good !
I’ve seen them Between 4-600 with decent tyres

Tyres and condition. It's normally hard to get an unkerbed set for less than £600. £400 ish usually gets you a kerbed set. Repair and re-powdercoating set costs a few hundred, so something to bare in mind if you want them put back to mint condition. Original PZ center caps can also cost a fortune so a lot of people are leaning towards buying the gel stick on cap covers instead now.

or just buy oz racing center caps and put a prodrive decal on below the oz one. the oz cap is otherwise identical and easy to source. ask kellytm272 if you want the part number, im sure he still has it :D
