I might be stupid but... Shouldn't low compression equal less resistance, thus higher crank speed?
Seems like they're not being honest...
Bought one myself and got it fitted by a mechanic. It turns the engine, haven't checked RPM or anything, but it screeches when the engine starts
Either it's the teeth grinding or it keeps cranking to long or there's something with the.. Bearings? I don't know
The sound it makes cut's through my soul like scratching one of those old crayon boards in school with your nails
